Lyrics
One song can change your life
I can admit I was wrong
I sang every wrong song
Cause I thought like a child
The notes would all work out somehow
Such a god damn fool
Like over and over again
And my friends, were they friends?
They all tried to tell me
One song can change your life
One time just get it right
If I could only find
The perfect melody
One song can change your life
And so I paid the price
Fact I’ve paid it over twice
When you’re stabbed in the back
By the blade of your own knife
And boy you’d think I’m wiser
No, only older and older my friend
My own words coming back
Yes their haunting me again
One song can change your life
One time just get it right
If I could only find
The perfect melody
One song can change your life
One song can change your life
One time just get it right
If I could only find
The perfect melody
One song can change your life
Quotes
“Wildlife Control has captured the spirit of the continuous and constantly evolving future of music video ... A great debut album from an indie band who really seems to be creating their own musical pulse.”
– Curtis Silver, WIRED“Particles, which has three movements — Illusion, Subtract, and Creature. Each on its own is compelling, but when digested together, Wildlife Control’s album is a tailor-made listen for losing oneself.”
– Matt Giles, POPULAR SCIENCE“Wildlife Control is youthful yet insightful. It feels like lying by a pool you broke into, young and drunk, next to someone you loved while looking at the stars knowing in your heart the world has a !@#* ton more in store for you ... an essential summer album.”
– Sophie St Thomas, VICE“Wildlife Control masterfully blends pop, rock, and electronic music.”
– Natalie Patrick, EARMILK“Wildlife Control are writing classics. 'Analog or Digital' is vaguely Ramones, vaguely Phoenix, wholly a triumph in rock that might be considered indie, and entirely awesome. It’s a must listen.”
– Rachel Skotarczyk, INDIE SHUFFLE“Sponté es perfección emocional que no saldrá de tu cabeza (emotional perfection that will not leave your head)”
